Recently, I became the proud owner of two football franchises (Fantasy football franchises if you want to be a picky asshole about it). One's an AOL league franchise named "The Amazing Incredibles". The other, an ESPN league franchise named "The Richmond Big Time." While these two teams share quite a few players and similarly look pretty stacked, their Win-Loss records could not read more differently. They're polar opposites of eachother. "The Amazing Incredibles" have lived up to their name, dominating the competition and holding a record of 3-0 as evidenced here. However, "The Richmond Big Time" have made a sham and a mockery of their name, managing to lose both blowouts and close games to sputter to a record of 0-3 as evidenced here.
The problem with this is that the ESPN league is the one I want to win. First off, it's the league with more people in it. The AOL one only consists of me, Miah and Josh because we're the only three football fans in the family with AOL e-mail addresses, but the ESPN league has me, Miah, Josh, Don, Mike, and Reno, all of whom know how to talk some good smack when it's called for. So I have zero bragging rights in the ESPN league. Sure I still talk trash, but it's not taken seriously because my team sucks. I WANT people to feel bad when I talk down to them, is that so wrong? I get to talk plenty of trash in the AOL league, but Josh and Miah treat it like a B-league because it's just us. And second-of-ly there's a $ pot to be won. The winner of the league this year wins a $60 pot. I WANT this, and I want everyone handing me their money to feel bad as I take it, is that so wrong?
So I guess what I'm saying is that I want to go 10-3 the rest of the season, then win the playoffs, take everybodys money, and make fun of all of them while I do it.
"Is that so wrong?"
